The Best Vegan Restaurants in Amsterdam

Juice By Nature

VEGAN RESTAURANTS AMSTERDAM

Located just by Amsterdam’s famous Red Light District, Juice By Nature is an absolute hidden gem and was, by far, my favourite vegan restaurant in Amsterdam. From raw Zucchini Pesto Noodles to their Lean & Green Salad Bowl, juice by nature has a wide variety of plant based meals that are sure to tickle your tastebuds.

Their exciting collection of cold pressed juices, smoothies and health shots leave even the fussiest diners spoiled for choice and even if you just stop here for a drink, you’re sure to be in for a treat.

I’d personally recommend treating yourself to their Raw Snickers Bar – it is absolutely to die for! The sweet caramel filling combined with the bitter chocolate topping and sprinkle of peanuts is so incredibly moreish that you’ll surely be tempted back for another visit – we certainly were!

As for their main dishes, their Lean & Green Salad Bowl was my personal favourite – the combination of creamy avocado, sweet blueberries, crunchy sugar snap peas and red pepper perfectly complimented each other, with each bite just as delicious as the last.

Vegabond

We stumbled across Vegabond while exploring the city and just had to venture inside. The vegan shop and lunch room hybrid offers a huge variety of vegan treats. The menu itself is quite limited, but delicious none the less!

Their gluten free Raw Rainbow Wraps incorporate the perfect combination of sprouts, carrot, avocado and peppers for a quick, satisfying, crunchy lunch.

The hybrid between a shop and a café means that the ambience inside is a little off as shoppers tend to wander around you while you’re eating, which can be a little off putting, however, it’s a great place to visit if you’re wanting a quick, healthy vegan lunch.
